INFORMATION

Any fool can sail sober. It takes a darn good sailor to sail into Poet's Cove against the current while drunk.

Don't forget a sail-in at Bedwell Harbour/Poet's Cove in September. We promised to organize it and you promised to come. September 20-23. We've booked the floating dock (cheap but no water, no power) or you can get a slip in the marina with services (possibly a good rate for the rendezvous).

Here's a link to Canadian Customs right at Poet's Cove (Bedwell Harbour): (open from 9AM to 5PM) Note that this is an easy passage from the San Juan Islads, especially Roche Harbor. Other easy places to clear Customs are Port of Sidney, Tsehum Harbour and Canoe Cove. Here is a link to Poet's Cove Marina> info Rates at the full service dock are CDN$1.65/ft (US$1.25/ft as of today) There is a good pub, or the dining room has offered to put on a $$ dinner if we get enough boats. In keeping with Cascadians' laid back nature, the pub sounds good for Saturday night!

There is a ferry to Pender Island from Swartz Bay by Sidney for drive ins. Ferries to Victoria are from Port Angeles or to Sidney from Anacortes.
