Any fool can sail sober. It takes a darn good sailor to sail through Agate Pass against the current.

This is the un-official notice (nothing in our club is official) of the Sail-in, Drive-in, Ferry-in, Walk-in, Crawl-in or Drag-in at the Port Of Poulsbo Marina scheduled for the weekend of October 22nd - 24th 2021.

It's time to get together again and shoot the breeze with your fellow Cascadians. Lets gather together and chat up about what we did this past year and about what we hope to do next year.

No special presentations are planned this time around. But we may have a question and answer session for gathering more cruising information or solving problems you encountered while out cruising. This is mostly going to be just a gathering of friends. If you are a sailor in the geographical areas of Cascadia, then you are invited.

What to expect (subject to change as the date draws near):

We are having our pot-luck meals and appetizers at the dock. We have access to the Multipurpose Room near the office Friday and Saturday. And we will have the Party Barge located near us. The Party Barge has been updated to a rigid covering, so wind will not be a factor of whether or not it is set up.

The Schedule:

Friday

• Arrivals and dockings. Extra fenders and boat hooks will be available to help with dockings if needed.
• Plenty of boat hopping and lowering of freeboard. BYOB
• 1700 - Happy Hour in the Multipurpose Room if it is available. BYOB and Heavy Appetizers...this usually turns out to be dinner!

Saturday

• 0800 - Coffee in the Multipurpose Room if it is available.
• 1000 - More boat hopping and visiting with friends.
• 1200 - Arrivals and dockings.
• 1730 - Happy hour starts.
• 1800 - Dinner in the Multipurpose Room if it is available. Pot Luck Supper. Bring a dish to share. Disposable plates and cutlery will be provided be Skip
• More boat hopping and socializing at the dock

Sunday

• Coffee on the docks...sad goodbyes!

Moorage and slip assignments:

The Sail-In Coordinator will reserve slips for everyone who signs up for the sail-in. 30 and 40 foot slips and one 76' linear tie at the end of the dock will be available. Beam allowance is from 13' to 17' in the 40' slips and from 10' to 12' in the 30' slips.

The marina requires a $5 per boat reservation fee that will be paid ahead of time. The reservation fee is non-refundable and CANNOT be applied to your slip fee. Please reimburse The Sail-In Coordinator for your reservation fee when you get your boat tied up.

Moorage will be at a rate of $1.00 per foot of length overall of either the boat or the slip whichever is longest.

Rafting up is permitted and charged at a rate of $1.00 per foot of length overall of the boat.

The Port Of Poulsbo is now charging $5.00 per night for 30 amp hook-up.

DO NOT reserve a space through the marina.

The Sail-In Coordinator will handle all reservations and marina slip assignments.

Slip assignments will be posted on the "Who's Going" page. (If you don't get your assignment, call The Sail-In Coordinator at 360-969-2726.

After you tie up, go to the marina office and tell them your slip number and pay your moorage fees.

The marina's policy is to charge a late fee for any moorage fees not paid in a timely manor.
If you arrive after the office closes, pay up by 9:00 am. The weekend hours for guest marina office are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The marina staff walks the docks at 9:30 am to check for boats with unpaid moorage.

Name tags will be handed out as you arrive.
